We HIGHLY encourage homeowners to be home for our thorough on-site consultations. This allows us to be able to inspect the attic to assess wood condition, inspect the roof and surrounding areas, and answer any questions you may have about your home in real time.

While this varies by season, we generally have a 1-3 week lead time, depending on city permits and inspections. Larger commercial projects will take longer due to more involved planning.
Warranties and guarantees depend highly on the type of project(s) and product(s) you select. However, we do offer lifetime warranties.
Because we are at the highest contractor status for our suppliers, we can offer Platinum Protection for Owens Corning, and Golden Pledge for GAF.
Yes, this actually is quite common during the rainy season. During your on-site consultation, please let your consultant know that you would like to utilize our tarping services.
Speak with your consultant about what accessories we have to offer, such as: solar attic fans, tube skylights, skylights, balcony skylights, insulation, seamless gutters, and more!
Roofing/gutters, then windows and/or solar, and finally stucco/siding and/or paint.
Our crews utilize trailors and a catch-all draping system for waste. The catch-alls wrap around the house to collect as much debris as possible.
We try our best to make sure all of the debris is picked up, however this is a construction site. There will be falling debris, ladder setups, random nails, etc., during the project duration. Please contact us ASAP at 714-790-1750 if any of these issues are causing a problem.
We try and estimate the best we can how much wood replacement is needed for the project during the consultation. Which is another reason why being able to peek into the attic is important and contributes to the accuracy of the proposal. Most of the time, however, we do not know the extent of the damage until we tear off the shingle layers. We must replace any wood deemed insufficient by the inspector to ensure safety and stability of the roof. Our carpentry prices are clearly stated in the original quote.
Rest assured we will properly waterproof your home in the event that it is raining. Our GreenCal team could moonlight as meteorologists with all the weather watching we do! Rain can also create project delays.
If the roof is actively leaking, in bad shape, or 10+ years old, we highly recommend replacing the roof before installing solar. This way, the roof will not fail far before the panels do. Each city has their own rules regarding permits. Some cities we can get a permit same day, other cities can take up to a week or longer. Whenever the contract is signed we immediately start the permitting process.
There will be a 10% or $1,000 deposit (whichever is less), a 40% payment upon material delivery, and a final payment once our responsibility is completed.
